John Monash Science School - focuses on Science and Maths.
Victorian College of the Arts - focuses on the performing arts - dance and music.
Flying Fruit Fly Circus School - focuses on Circus performance and artistic skills.
The Alpine School - for Year 9 students focusing on leadership

Box Hill Senior Secondary College - offers Basketball, Football, Tennis and a wide range of other programs in conjunction with VET pre-apprenticeships. Note - I am currently the Timetabler here and really love the broad range of programs offered to the students.
Hallam Secondary College - similar to above.
Maribrynong Secondary College - similar to above.
Rowville Secondary College - similar to above.
Templestowe College - Has Basketball and Squash programs.
Flexible Programs:
Some Schools offer programs where the students can design their own curriculum by choosing subjects that they are passionate about, an example of this is Templestowe College.
Alternative schools offer a different philosophical approach to education. While most are privately run, several Victorian government schools offer both a public and alternative curriculum model for students. These specialized curriculum approaches in government schools include Steiner, Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the International Baccalaureate.
